- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My parents saw Dr. Deblanc for years. In the last few, they began to feel he wasn't listening to them anymore, so changed doctors. In their first appointment with the new doctor (not associated with Deblanc), it was discovered that my mother had GERD (not just ordinary acid reflux) and a defunct gall bladder. It was obvious from the tests and scans that she'd had gall stones and other issues for a long time, but Dr. Deblanc just kept throwing platitudes and antacids at her. He hadn't even tested my parents' cholesterol levels since they became patients! They are in their 60s. There is no excuse for doctors to be so careless about the well being of their patients. So beware and be warned. UPDATE: My mom had surgery to remove her gall bladder. The surgeon was astounded that she hadn't spent the last years in excruciating pain. What should have been a 1 hour surgery became a 2+hour one as a result. I cannot articulate how angry I am at Deblanc's neglect in his "care" of my parents.February 05, 2017by Mary Fontenot
